Privacy Policy
Overview
This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit questnewsroom.com (“Quest Newsroom”, “we”, “us”). We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not offer user registration, and we do not sell personal information.
Server Logs
Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when you visit a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and understanding overall traffic, and are kept only for a limited period.
Cookies
Quest Newsroom runs on WordPress. WordPress may set a small number of functional cookies, for example if you leave a comment (to remember your name and email on that device) or if an administrator is logged in. These cookies are not used to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work for reading.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare to deliver the site quickly and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare processes visitor requests, including IP addresses, and may set cookies needed for security and performance (for example, to distinguish real visitors from bots). Cloudflare’s handling of data is described in its own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Comments and Email
If you leave a comment, the name, email address and comment text you submit are stored so the comment can be displayed and moderated. If you email us at [email protected], we use your message and address only to reply and to handle your request.
Third-Party Links
Our articles link to external sources such as developer and publisher websites, reference sites and gaming outlets. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may give you rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
Quest Newsroom is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
